The words trauma and traumatism are more and more present around us today. Talks, trainings, publications and conferences abound on the subject and raise questions: has the phenomenon of traumatic breach become more frequent, to the point of spilling beyond the intimate or family sphere?

A congress experienced from the inside
The Institut d'Études de la Famille et des Systèmes Humains (IEFSH) held, on 3 and 4 February 2023 at the ULB, a congress entitled "Human systems facing traumas".
If you could not attend this event organised by Edith Goldbeter-Merinfeld — with speakers including Boris Cyrulnik, Siegi Hirsch, Robert Neuburger, Michel Silvestre, Isabelle Duret, Marion Feldman, Serge Goldman, Vera Likaj, Jean-Michel Longneaux, Araxie Matossian, Annick Petiau, Romano Scandariato and Sandra Billy —, I take you along with me to experience it from the inside, through my eminently subjective lens.
