When I started practicing therapy, after my studies, I realized the abyssal gulf that existed between theory in psychology and the actual work of a therapist.

Having a theoretical background on how people function does not necessarily mean being able to help them when they need it. And in the end, in my experience, I had been trained far too little in the therapeutic process.

Fortunately, I have come a long way since the end of my studies, and here is the presentation I would have liked to see several years ago: pragmatic information on how the therapeutic intervention process is organized, to give you some very useful tools for practice.

To do so, I will present the intervention process of the strategic-resolutive method, as Yara Doumit presents it in her work on the method.
