Professional training

Training in the Strategic Resolutive Method

Identify the mechanisms that keep problems in place, foster change, and build effective strategic interventions.

In clinical work, support work, institutional settings or the helping relationship, some situations persist despite the efforts made. The actions taken are sometimes numerous, yet the problem remains stable, shifts or becomes rigid.

This training offers a strategic reading frame to analyse these maintenance logics, clarify the request, identify unproductive attempted solutions and design interventions adjusted to the singularity of the context.

It is aimed at professionals who want to strengthen the precision of their clinical, relational or institutional reasoning and to have tools that can be transferred directly into their practice.

Target skills

  • Master the theoretical, epistemological and pragmatic foundations of the Strategic Resolutive Method.
  • Identify the interactional processes that contribute to keeping a problem in place.
  • Spot repetitive, unproductive or counter-productive attempted solutions.
  • Turn a vague request into a clear, workable objective.
  • Distinguish the request, the mandate, the expectations and the constraints of a situation.
  • Build an intervention strategy consistent with the context and the stakes of the system concerned.
  • Adjust one's professional stance in complex situations.
  • Prevent iatrogenic effects, relational deadlocks and forms of exhaustion linked to the intervention.

This training is designed for professionals in care, the helping relationship, support work and institutional settings.

A systemic therapist, trainer and supervisor, Yara Doumit Naufal is specialised in the Strategic Resolutive Method.

She co-authored a reference book dedicated to this approach. Her teaching combines conceptual rigour, methodological clarity and hands-on application to complex professional situations.
